How should we dress for our shoot?
Stick to similar tones. Neutral and earthy tones are my favourite. Choose 3-4 tones and everyone can co-ordinate around these. Newborn shoots are best in light airy colours like whites, creams, light blue and peach.
Avoid fluorescent, brights colours, and graphics. Don't forget to think about your shoes too. If you're unsure, please message me. I am happy to recommend or offer something from my client wardrobe. All clients have full access to my client wardrobe for FREE.
What locations do you recommend?
I have few of my favourite spots that I like shooting around Kalgoorlie and Kambalda. I am happy to travel up to 30 mins from Kalgoorlie or Kambalda. I can send you some reference photos to ensure you get the vibe and tones you're looking for.
What if my kids cry or misbehave?
I was that mum. I had the kid that would take an hour to warm up or just cry through the session. I understand how hard and how much pressure you and your child are feeling. I also have the opposite child who gets into everything he shouldn't. Please rest assure, I have seen it all and I absolutely do not judge. Talk to me in advance if you're concerned and we can make a plan before hand.... or bring treats!
What if I am late or have to cancel?
Unfortunately, late arrivals will mean time is deducted from your session. I will always do my best to work with you and your needs. I understand if something urgent comes up and allow for 1 reschedule without charge. After this, or in the case of a cancellation, your retainer will be forfeited.
Do you travel outside of the Goldfields?
I often travel to Perth and Esperance. I will update my socials for bookings throughout the year but you can always flick me a message to organise a date.
My husband really doesn't want to come, can you help?
I know. It's always been hard for me to get mine to come along to shoots. Tell him to bring a 6 pack. He can pose for 15 minutes and then sit down and enjoy watching,
